Our Settings
Stepping Stones Cornwall has two early years settings situated in the St Austell area, with a variety of childcare options to maximise our ability to be flexible to tailor to the needs of our parents. Learn more about the settings below:
Scol Kensa
Scol Kensa offers full-time flexible childcare between the ours of 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Fees
We charge by the hour enabling parents/carers full flexibility in choosing their hours with a two hour session being the minimum requirement.

We are open all year but are closed on bank holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year.
If your child attends between 11.30am and 12.30pm, you will need to provide them
with a named packed lunch and drink. Minimum session time will be 2 hours and must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
We ask that you pay a £10 additional contribution each term of each school year toward our snack provision (this is voluntary if fully funded).
Funding
Nursery Education Grant Funding for 3 and 4 years olds can be used at Stepping Stones with the funding commencing the term after they turn 3. We also accept 15 hours 2 year old funding.
From September 2017 you may also be eligible for free 30 hours funding. For further information visit https://beststartinlife.gov.uk/
Funding can be used between 8am and 5pm. We are happy to accept childcare vouchers at Stepping Stones and if you are working you may be eligible to additional tax credits & Tax Free Childcare to help towards your childcare costs.
Mount Charles
Mount Charles offers full-time flexible childcare between the ours of 8:00am to 4:00pm.
